ABOUT BAXTER AND TED

We are a boutique filmmaking company producing bespoke, beautifully crafted films for weddings, love stories, people and places.
We combine old and new formats, digital and film. Chris’ first camera was a wind-up super 8 Bolex and we both still adore the timeless, soft, romantic and enchanting quality of super 8 film. We find its gentle rawness very appealing. We love the imperfections, which make it beautifully perfect. We love the anticipation of waiting for the films to be processed and the magic of watching the images unfold for the first time on screen. A beautiful contrast to the vibrant, stunning cinematic feel of modern high definition formats.
Our relaxed and informal style allows us to capture the story of you and your day as it unfolds in a natural, honest and authentic way. We love to capture the emotion, the details and the unexpected moments - those moments of quiet reflection, anticipation, tender glances, gentle kisses, tears of joy, laughter and above all, love!

MEET CHRIS AND CAROLINE
We are passionate, experienced filmmakers and storytellers who love documenting life with our cameras.
Our broadcast television jobs have sent us all over the world - we have filmed in over 40 countries and experienced so many incredible adventures. Chris is an award-winning cameraman and his latest documentary camerawork can be seen in Rick Stein’s recent BBC series ‘Rick Stein's Long Weekends’.
We also love LOVE! The journey of our own wedding led us to Baxter and Ted. A natural progression combining our passion for storytelling with the joy of other people’s stories, capturing the romance of people in love and preserving those precious moments on film.
We are very lucky to live on a stunning Cornish cliff top so when we’re not away filming, you’ll find us barefoot on the beach living our own love story.
